Mr. Francis Sakpana was born into the respected family of Mr. and Mrs. Chibulu Nwabueze Sakpana from Ifeku Islands in Esan South East LGA of Edo State, Nigeria.
He grew up alongside ten siblings in a family environment that emphasized discipline, unity, and responsibility.
From a young age, he demonstrated qualities of leadership, compassion, and a deep interest in helping others improve their lives.

Marriage and Family Life
Establishment of SAFRANDO Pharmacy
After completing his education, Mr. Francis Sakpana ventured into the pharmaceutical sector in the early 1990s.
He established a chemist shop known as SAFRANDO Pharmacy, which became a trusted source of pharmaceutical products and health advice within the community.

During his eight (8) years of leadership, he helped:

- Encourage ethical pharmaceutical practices
- Coordinate activities among members

- His leadership strengthened collaboration among pharmaceutical dealers in the region.
Leadership in the Unana Family

He was the Chairman of the Unana Family (both home and abroad) until his passing.
In this role, he helped promote unity, resolve family matters, and guide family development, earning the respect and admiration of family members across different locations.
His Passing
After a brief illness lasting three days, Mr. Francis Sakpana sadly passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 62.
Following his passing, his body was deposited in the mortuary as funeral arrangements were made.
The final burial schedule was arranged as follows:
- March 6, 2026 – Body departs from mortuary
- March 7, 2026 – Final burial ceremony
His passing was deeply felt by family members, friends, colleagues, and members of the healthcare community.
